💀 flatline — One note, start to finish. Hard going most of the way through. Very little of it ever resolves.

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

“CC’s big emotional climax for the finale is one in which Scully tells Mulder that William isn’t his son, and really not her son too in a lot of ways, but a scientific experiment (which we are lead to believe has something to do with the chip on her neck.) Then with her next breath, she tells Mulder they’re going to be parents again and with the heavily implied subtext of “for realsies” (imho) this time as if she’s 100% sure the chip she still has in her neck has nothing to do with it?! ugh.”
