terms of service

1. who we are

FlickFeel is operated from India. Contact details are on the contact page. References to "we" and "us" mean the operator of FlickFeel; "you" means the person using it.

2. accounts

• You sign in with Google. You are responsible for that account's security.
• One person, one account. Ratings are tied to a signed-in account precisely so scores cannot be manufactured.
• We may suspend accounts that manipulate ratings, scrape at scale, or abuse other people.

3. your ratings and reviews

• You keep ownership of what you write.
• You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your ratings and reviews in the product, and to include them in aggregate, anonymised statistics (for example a title's average arc). Aggregates never identify you and are subject to a minimum group size.
• We do not sell or share user-level data. If you would rather your ratings were excluded from aggregate reporting entirely, turn on the opt-out in your profile.
• You can export or delete everything you have written at any time.

4. the free forever charter

Every feature available on FlickFeel on 19 August 2026 stays free, permanently, for everyone. That list is published on the charter page and enforced in our code. Paid plans only ever cover features built after that date.

5. paid plans

• Prices are shown before payment. Indian customers are charged in INR inclusive of applicable GST; customers elsewhere are charged in USD through our merchant of record, who is the seller of record for that transaction.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Founding Member is a one-time payment granting the Pro feature set for the lifetime of the product. If FlickFeel ever shuts down, see clause 9.
• Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

6. acceptable use

• No automated rating submission, vote manipulation, or multi-accounting.
• No scraping beyond what a normal browser does. A licensed API is available — see partners.
• No harassment, hate speech, or illegal content in reviews.

7. third-party content

Film and TV metadata, posters, and availability information come from third-party sources including TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Those rights belong to their respective owners.

8. no warranty, limited liability

FlickFeel is provided as-is. Scores are opinions in aggregate, not facts. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

9. changes and shutdown

We may change these terms; material changes will be announced in-product and by email at least 30 days ahead. If FlickFeel shuts down, we will give at least 60 days' notice, provide a full data export, and refund the unused portion of any active subscription. Founding Members who paid within the preceding 12 months will be refunded pro rata.

10. governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in the operator's jurisdiction.
