Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 50 comments (47 from Metacritic, 3 from TMDB reviews) β 13 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence β the shape below rests on 13 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

Published reviews, not felt experience β a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
βA nearly flawless example of movie composition, with close examination revealing how carefully it was put together. For those who take a less studious and more visceral approach to movie viewing, it's also worth noting that Chinatown is a superior thriller - one that will keep viewers involved and "in the moment" until the final, mournful scene has come to a conclusion.β

β[Nicholson's] performance is key in keeping Chinatown from becoming just a genre crime picture--that, and a Robert Towne screenplay that evokes an older Los Angeles, a small city in a large desert.β
Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times Β· 100
βA wonderfully brooding, suspenseful revisitation of the land of film noir, Chinatown is not only one of the greatest detective films, but one of the most perfectly constructed of all films.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

β**Great.** I can't say much about Roman Polanski because I feel I've seen too little of his work to make a more global analysis: I have only seen _The Ninth Gate_, _The Pianist_ and, now, this film. It's not muchβ¦ but the truth is that they are three films that I really liked, and about which I have a very good opinion. This film is very good, fitting into a style that we can call βneo-noirβ, insofar as its visual aesthetic is heavily inspired by noir, with the caveats that are due, as it is β
