how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 110 comments (75 from Reddit, 31 from Metacritic, 4 from TMDB reviews) β 29 of them described how it moves.
β steady β Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills.

βThe scene that I found the most unsettling was the flashback in which Esther uses the crucifix against the apparition of Annabelle at the tea table only to have her twitch, crack, and finally transform into a figure as high as the ceiling.β

βthey didn't shy away from a fairly hard R in the third act. When [they showed Annabelle's mother cut in half and crucified on the wall](#spoiler) it was actually shocking. I really didn't expect that level of graphic intensity from a Conjuring franchise film.β

βFirst half was a little slow but it still kept it interesting.β

βIn the final act anyway, to make it more suspenseful, I think they coulda killed a couple more girls (like the one in the barn).β

βIf some light deja vu is the price horror fans must pay for a mainstream offering this spine-tingling, most will still come away feeling spooked and satisfied.β

βIt's simply a treat to watch Sandberg's style on display in Annabelle: Creation, filled with circling dolly shots that reveal and conceal evil in torturously teasing ways, effective narrative use of practical lighting for dramatic effect, and heart-pounding sound effects and a score of screaming strings.β
Katie Walsh, Chicago Tribune Β· 88
βCloser in tone and old-school psychological fright tactics to the original film than either The Conjuring 2 or Annabelle, David F. Sandbergβs incisive approach capably resets the franchise.β
Justin Lowe, The Hollywood Reporter Β· 80
βLike the "Conjuring" films, Annabelle: Creation is a symphony of cheap tricks; its scares are strictly of the funhouse variety, not the keep-you-up-for-days kind, but theyβre executed with precision and panache.β
A.A. Dowd , The A.V. Club Β· 75
βLike Lights out, David F. Sandberg's previous film, Annabelle: Creation is a haunted-house horror story that plays on our primeval fear of the dark.β
