Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 257 comments (210 from Reddit, 43 from Metacritic, 4 from TMDB reviews) β 53 of them described how it moves.
β steady β Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 3 moments that made people jump, 3 that got a real laugh.

βFirst half is for the most part a period piece dramaβ

βI think the scariest part was when the boy was reaching into the wall and Doris' face was transforming.β

βI just didn't like the "emotional ending" (or lack thereof). I wanted some sort of emotional closure. It doesn't matter if it is positive or negative but for me it needs to be fully fleshed out for me to be satisfied. I just felt like it lacked a conclusive piece and that always bothers me when the credits roll if it isn't thereβ

βI really enjoyed how self-aware the first half of the movie wasβ

βEqual parts horror masterclass and internal home-invasion thriller, βOuijaβ is as chilling and nerve-racking as they come. Itβs a sort of cinematic heart attack β irreparably damaging to the body and mind, with a slow recovery time.β

βInfused with psychological complexity and nuanced characterizations, Ouija: Origin of Evil falters only in the final section.β
Frank Scheck, The Hollywood Reporter Β· 80
βIf anything, the movie's third act is the only thing that feels a bit a disappointing. The plot is carefully constructed, the performances are rich (both girls are excellent), the characters are believable and a sense of dread grows throughout. Heck, the movie is even great to look at, with its period sheen and slightly muted colors.β

βThe director, Mike Flanagan, who with Jeff Howard also wrote the script, demonstrates rare patience for horror fare as he builds toward the macabre.β
Neil Genzlinger, The New York Times Β· 80
ββOuijaβ is genuinely frightening and smart, the rare horror prequel able to stand on its own merits and deliver a full-bodied story that succeeds without any previous knowledge or trappings. However, in outfitting this particular haunted house with monsters to spare, Flanagan loses the thread of whatβs really scary: Everything we canβt see.β
