how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 172 comments (120 from Reddit, 50 from Metacritic, 2 from TMDB reviews) β 34 of them described how it moves.
β steady β Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Around the middle it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Marked above the line: 2 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills, 1 that got a real laugh.

βI *loved* the scene when Ms. Kelly confronts her. It reminds Eilis why Brooklyn and Tony are better for her than staying in Ireland.β

βThey did excellently show how easy it is to get sucked back into an old life, where things are comfortable and familiar.β

Published reviews, not felt experience β a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It reviews better than it plays β admired more than it is enjoyed.
βClassily and classically crafted in the best sense by director John Crowley and screenwriter Nick Hornby, this superbly acted romantic drama is set in the early 1950s and provides the feeling of being lifted into a different world altogether, so transporting is the filmβs sense of time and place and social mores.β

βA heartbreaking and poignant story about choices, country, commitments, sacrifice, and love, Brooklyn is a superb, luminous, and bittersweet portrayal of who we are, where weβve come from, where weβre going, and the places we call home.β

βThe movement of the storyβfrom wrenching homesickness to blooming confidence and a smile on oneβs stroll to workβelevates the movie into universal urban poetry.β

βColm TΓ³ibΓnβs bitter-sweet novel of the Irish expat experience brought impeccably to the screen by Crowley and Hornby, with Saoirse Ronan excelling herself in the leaf.β

βThe film serves as an authentic examination of the mid-twentieth-century immigrant experience β and an intimate exploration of one woman's attempt to understand who she is and where she wants to belong.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
