how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 299 comments (251 from Reddit, 42 from Metacritic, 6 from TMDB reviews) — 83 of them described how it moves.
➖ steady — Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout — never simply one thing. In the last stretch it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. It tightens hardest around the middle. Marked above the line: 3 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills, 1 that got a real laugh.

“this ending hit so hard for me”

“I really enjoyed Nora and Hae Sung reconnecting over Skype the first time around. That entire sequence was so well-done and conveyed their connection as efficiently as possible.”

“that beginning scene was. Like it's funny because it's just two random strangers profiling them, but it also sets up the entire movie. Like who are these people to each other? Throughout the movie I couldn't help but think back to the beginning scene and loved it. Especially when eventually Nora looks right at the camera and then it cuts to 24 years in the past, Great stuff.”

“I'm glad the film ended the way it did. I feel like there is hope for all three main characters.”

“the scene where they just stare at each other with no words right before he leaves. Their expressions says so much. And her crying while walking back just saying goodbye to that life, the idea of him and her childhood.”

“during the second act when Hae Sung was Skyping with Nora in the gondola, he was riding the gondola up to Namsan Tower in Seoul, which has beautiful overlook of the city, and where couples historically go in Seoul to solidify their relationship. There are hundreds, if not thousands of locks from couples who have gone up to that outlook. Perhaps the call dropping as he is on his way up to the tower is foreshadowing their relationship?”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It reviews better than it plays — admired more than it is enjoyed.
“There are three superb performances at the picture’s centre, but none is more radiant than that of Greta Lee, gracefully capturing the spirit of a searching soul who seems to understand things about the nuances of love that are beyond the grasp of the rest of us.”
Tim Grierson, Screen Daily · 100
“Past Lives is an exquisitely wistful drama that speaks with an honesty so affectingly crisp it will turn your conceptions of love, identity and fate on their head.”
TheWrap · 100
“Past Lives is not concerned with regret. It is instead a thoughtful, humane rumination on what may be fixed in personal history but remains forever fluid in the mind.”
Richard Lawson, Vanity Fair · 100
“For all the films that have been made about love triangles, Song has fashioned hers in the form of a circle, defying so many of the clichés in her quietly devastating way.”
Peter Debruge, Variety · 100
“It’s hard to imagine Past Lives not being one of 2023’s most talked-about films, and it richly deserves the honor.”
Alissa Wilkinson, Vox · 100

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
