how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 57 comments (49 from Metacritic, 8 from TMDB reviews) — 19 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 19 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“The pacing could've been better, it felt a little longer than its 101 minute run time”

“Five minutes of exposition at the end of a film is not a good way to tell your story.”
HellHoleHorror · Metacritic ↗
“pacing was my biggest issue. The story moves slowly and takes a long time to deliver anything truly emotional.”

“if you don’t connect with that language, the film starts to feel heavy.”

“I never felt true tension, only a constant waiting.”

“I loved the darkness, and evil undertones in his film that just ride in the background throughout the entire piece.”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It reviews better than it plays — admired more than it is enjoyed.
“After it's over, you won't soon forget what you've seen and heard. Even if you try, it'll come back — whether in your fantasies, your nightmares, or both.”

“The horrors, like Cage himself, are largely kept off-screen for much of the movie’s duration. Yet with its eerie soundscape and sepulchral visuals, Longlegs nevertheless succeeds as a deeply disconcerting experience, one that burrows into the brain as insidiously as the innocuous means its villain employs to disseminate his evil.”
Neil Smith, Total Film · 100
“It’s artfully shot, the aspect ratio tightening claustrophobically as it flashes back to the 1970s. But Perkins’s script also sprinkles in sudden shocks, deeply macabre moments and slashes of dark humour to generate a deep unease all of its own.”
Phil de Semlyen, Time Out · 100
“Longlegs is a conjuring of dark, poetic cinema where the devil is definitely in the details.”
Bob Strauss, San Francisco Chronicle · 100
“Everything about it, from the performances to the production design to the sickly quality of the light in scene after scene, is designed to make us not just question what we’re seeing, but stand at a remove from it, like we’ve just seen a wild animal behaving strangely. Like that wild animal might just lash out and bite us if we get too close.”
Matthew Jackson, The A.V. Club · 100

“I had fun. It's fun. Hail Satan! Any Satan movie is pretty high on my list. Was a super cool Satan kid in high school. All Anton LaVey book reports and stuff. It's a fine Satan movie.”

“I was really hoping this would make up for the wasted potential of Oddity (2024), and it certainly did. Longlegs (2024) mixes elements of paranormal pseudoscience with the "Devil made me do it" Satanic panic to deliver a satisfying slow burn thriller where the Devil is actually making them do it. Nicholas Cage delivers a damn good performance as the titular Longlegs and it's nice to see Kiernan Shipka in yet another "psycho" role after The Blackcoat's Daughter (2017). MaXXXine (2024) is”

“Nicolas Cage proves again with this movie that he can play any role without problems. He's such a talented actor... He's nailing his role in this movie. Movie itself is strange and interesting. And if you're one of those people who likes strange horror movies, you will like this movie. I personally enjoyed it.”
