how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 257 comments (210 from Reddit, 41 from Metacritic, 6 from TMDB reviews) — 39 of them described how it moves.
📈 rising arc — Builds the whole way through. Pulled both ways throughout — never simply one thing. Around the middle it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. It tightens hardest in the first half. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills, 3 that got a real laugh.

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It plays better than it reviews — the watch lands harder than the write-ups suggest.
“Half the time, Black’s dialogue is just announcing what we’re looking at, from diamond swords to flying hot air balloons that look like goth squids. But it’s the gleam in his eyes, the gusto in his delivery, that makes every line zing.”
Amy Nicholson, Los Angeles Times · 80
“It feels like a small miracle that the resulting film is so funny, lively, and light on its feet.”
Bilge Ebiri, New York Magazine (Vulture) · 80
“A relatively accessible, often enjoyable adaptation of the best-selling video game of all time, its family-friendly good heart unencumbered by its overstuffed narrative.”
Liz Shannon Miller, Consequence · 75
“Jared Hess, co-creator of Napoleon Dynamite and a string of other small oddball pictures, brings a fresh perspective to what could have been a lumbering IP-pallooza movie.”
Jordan Hoffman, Entertainment Weekly · 75
“There’s something almost refreshingly bold in the full-tilt inanity here — in taking a blockbuster budget and embracing idiocy, as if to knowingly say, “I mean, it’s a Minecraft movie.””
Brandon Yu, The New York Times · 70

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
