how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 51 comments (46 from Metacritic, 5 from TMDB reviews) — 21 of them described how it moves.
〰️ uneven — Peaks and dips, no clear shape. Hard going most of the way through. Early on it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves.

“when the tsunami hit, that was harrowing!”
strangebrew123 · Metacritic ↗
“I was quite taken aback by the scenes during the initial tsunami, by how realistic they seemed and I wondered quite how they'd managed to film them - there are some very wide shots used, that really brought home how devastating the tsunami was and made it seem all the more unbelievable that some of the family members managed to both survive and stay together.”

“The Impossible is one of the most emotionally realistic disaster movies in recent memory -- and certainly one of the most frightening in its epic re-creation of the catastrophic 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.”
Deborah Young, The Hollywood Reporter · 100
“Wrenchingly acted, deftly manipulated and terrifyingly well made.”
Justin Chang, Variety · 100
“Put a staggering accomplishment called The Impossible, from Spanish director J. A. Bayona, at the top of the season's must-see list.”
Rex Reed, Observer · 100
“Here is a searing film of human tragedy.”
Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times · 100
“Perilous incidents have riveted audiences since Pauline was tied to the railroad tracks, but in the hundred-year history of cinema, few thrillers have been as emotionally compelling as The Impossible.”
Joe Williams, St. Louis Post-Dispatch · 100

“Incredible story with remarkable performances by Naomi Watts and Tom Holland and amazing staging. However, Bayona repeats the same mistakes from other movies like "The Orphanage" when he creates an uneasy situation through some unexplained weird behavior.”

“Another amazing story based in truth. I think it's called The Impossible because those sets must have been near impossible.”
