how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 50 comments (49 from Metacritic, 1 from TMDB reviews) — 18 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 18 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“The movie immerses you immediately into the story and directly places you into the story. This is what movies are supposed to do. It is EXTREMELY reflective and intense since it's about faith under EXTREME pressure.”

“It's 2 hours and 40 minutes, and it is not exactly briskly paced. It is challenging intellectually (and perhaps spiritually, which it is meant to be), and isn't "fun" to watch.”
rmurray847 · Metacritic ↗
“This is a slow paced, reflexive, mature movie and I really enjoyed it. It entertained me in a subtle way and it never felt boring.”
NickTheCritick · Metacritic ↗
“Film is lengthy (2hr 40min) but I can guarantee you that you will not feel it's length.”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It reviews better than it plays — admired more than it is enjoyed.
“Scorsese has hit the rare heights of Ingmar Bergman and Carl Theodor Dreyer, artists who found in religion a battleground that often left the strongest in tatters, compromised and ruined. It’s a movie desperately needed at a moment when bluster must yield to self-reflection.”
Joshua Rothkopf, Time Out · 100
“It’s a film full of tight close-ups of hands accepting gifts that comfort, inspire and bring succour to their recipients’ souls. That’s how we should receive it.”
Robbie Collin, The Telegraph · 100
“Silence is a slowly unfolding, deeply thoughtful film about questioning yourself. About questioning authority. About taking stock of where you've failed as a human being, and wondering how you can make amends — to yourself, to others, and to God.”
Stephen Whitty , New York Daily News · 100
“Silence is something to see whether you’re certain there’s a God or whether you just believe in sunlight, which covers just about everybody.”
Stephanie Zacharek, Time · 100
“Building implacable dread and tension from scene to scene, the story is as simple as its underlying ideas are endlessly complex.”
Justin Chang, Los Angeles Times · 100

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

“**_Great filmmaking, cast and locations, but strangely inert (overlong) story_** Released in late 2016 and directed by Martin Scorsese based on the novel by Shûsaku Endô, "Silence" chronicles events in 1640 when two Jesuit priests (Andrew Garfield & Adam Driver) journey to Japan to check on the persecuted church and find out what happened to their mentor, whom it is rumored fell from the faith (Liam Neeson). Issei Ogata is on hand as the sadistic, but seemingly reasonable Japanese inquisitor.”
