how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 273 comments (232 from Reddit, 37 from Metacritic, 4 from TMDB reviews) β 65 of them described how it moves.
β steady β Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. In the first half it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills, 1 that got a real laugh.

βThe hotel scene is really just set him off the deep end. He turned into a hopeful romantic into someone completely obsessed, not with the woman he loved, but with the life he had imagined with her. He screamed, pleaded, and looked a complete wreck trying to grasp what little he had left.β

Published reviews, not felt experience β a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
βBaz Luhrmannβs The Great Gatsby is the first must-see film of Hollywoodβs summer season, if for no other reason than its jaw-dropping evocation of Roaring β20s New York β in 3-D, no less.β
Lou Lumenick, New York Post Β· 88
βAmidst all the fireworks and the cascading champagne and the insanely over-the-top parties, weβre reminded again and again that The Great Gatsby is about a man who spends half a decade constructing an elaborate monument to the woman of his dreams.β
Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times Β· 88
βItβs a terrific adaptation that succeeds not only as a work of cinema but also, wonderfully, as proof of the novelβs greatness. In short, the picture rebukes the revisionists even while entertaining them.β
Rick Groen, The Globe and Mail (Toronto) Β· 88
βAs a purely sensory experience at the movies you're hard-pressed to find anything more dazzling than the first 90 minutes of The Great Gatsby, when Luhrmann's riotous amusements make anything possible.β
Steve Persall, Tampa Bay Times Β· 83
βWhen the camera glides down a pier to settle for the first time on Gatsby's face, it's a movie-star moment of the sort we don't often get anymore, and there aren't many actors who could pull off Gatsby's mixture of confident charisma and pathetic vulnerability.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
