βI enjoyed it, I think it has that 90s schlocky charm of things like Hackers or such. I'm aware it's a lot more recent than that of course. There's an inherent oddness in movies that are built around niches or specialisms, for some reason it suspends them in time or something and forms a hyperreality that lets things play more to the absurd or campy. I think that was a large part of the silly almost slapstick of Michael Shannon for starters. It could just be a more specific exacerbation of the sβ
