β steady β Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing.

βThe ending came so abruptly and out of the blue, that it caught me by surprise. Didn't seem to tie off well at all.β
βas the end was approaching, I went to use the bathroom because I thought that was a good point to go, expecting there to be a "3rd act" or something. Came back to see the credits playing.β

βRenner's Cross is a conflicted hero built to take advantage of the "Hurt Locker" star's best qualities as an actor - his default intensity, the way he conveys that complicated mental calculations are taking place under cover of watchful stillness, even underwater.β

βViscerally, The Bourne Legacy packs a punch. If you're looking for a traditional sequel though, you'll probably be disappointed, but if it's a whole new ride you're after, you've come to the right place. Bourne has indeed been reborn.β

βThe result is a newly revived spy movie franchise -- and the best big-budget action film of the summer.β

βComplex, unexpected and dazzling, alternating relentless tension with resonant emotional moments, this is an exemplary espionage thriller that has a strong sense of what it wants to accomplish and how best to get there.β

β**The Bourne Legacy perfects the action style of the franchise with a little more brutality making this spin-off hit hard and greatly entertain.** The Bourne Legacy spins off from the Bourne franchise and follows a new agent who has been betrayed by the government and must go in the run to survive. Jeremy Reneeβs Aaron Cross has a much more brutal combat style than Bourne, and excited to watch. The Bourne Legacy focuses more on the action and introduces the corrupt network that Cross must batβ
The Movie Mobread it β
β66/100 Because of Bourne's exposure of covert agencies within our government in "Ultimatum", these same agencies decide it's best to shut them all down. Aaron Cross, an agent from the Outcome operation isn't too happy about that. Much more a simple chase film and less an espionage / political subterfuge film, Jeremy Renner does a great job as our star agent and it still works as an exciting international action thriller. In fact, I'd like to see more Aaron Cross but that's probably not going β
