how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 55 comments (46 from Metacritic, 9 from TMDB reviews) β 14 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence β the shape below rests on 14 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

βWith all the jumping around in the story I could not tell who was where and what was going on half the time.β

βThis made it feel somewhat lethargic and I expected far more tensionβ

Published reviews, not felt experience β a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It reviews better than it plays β admired more than it is enjoyed.
βGreat directors make great movies. And with Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan has made his second masterpiece, thrilling history retold, remembered and relished.β

βFew movies have so palpably conveyed the sheer isolation of fear, and the extent to which history is often made by people who are just trying to survive it β few movies have so vividly illustrated that one man can only do as much for his country as a country can do for one of its men.β
David Ehrlich, IndieWire Β· 100
βThere have been countless films this summer that have engaged in endless spectacle but Dunkirk is the rare blockbuster that will leave a bruise.β
Drew Taylor, The Playlist Β· 100
βThis is a powerful, superbly crafted film with a story to tell, avoiding war porn in favour of something desolate and apocalyptic, a beachscape of shame, littered with soldiers zombified with defeat, a grimly male world with hardly any women on screen. It is Nolanβs best film so far.β
Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian Β· 100
βThis is visceral, big-budget filmmaking that can be called Art. Itβs also, hands down, the best motion picture of the year so far.β

it reviews better than it plays β critics 93, the watch 60
Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
βAbsolutely disappointing and a pure waste of time. It feels like Nolan has totally lost his Mojo. A few nice looking scenes, but 90% is crap from acting, over all story elements. The film has nothing to say and big parts feel like somebody gave 100 million euros to an amateur filmer group that is missing both: talent and interest in the movie. Sometimes it felt more like a parody...β

βI especially like the kind of quick and straight progress which generates and undertow and atmosphere till the last credit of the film is running over the screen.β
