how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 94 comments (65 from Reddit, 23 from Metacritic, 6 from TMDB reviews) β 42 of them described how it moves.
π rising arc β Builds the whole way through. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Around the middle it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 2 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills.

βWhen Capt. Glover describes Doss as the "bravest man he ever met" during the credits I just lost it.β

βI think one of the most moving parts was when he came down and was walking through everyone in silence. Loved it loved it loved it.β
LiamNegan Β· Reddit β
βThe final battle sequence was so well done. Not the visceral moment-to-moment intensity of the previous battles but rather a montage of violence shot with extreme beauty.β

βThose battle scenes matched up and even surpassed those of Saving Private Ryan.β

βThat scene when the Japanese pulled a grenade pin and grabbed a soldier and wouldn't let him go until they just started screaming at each other was fucking terrifying.β

βThe bit where Desmond was patching up the Jap in the tunnel was terrific. Just the raw emotion and compassion Garfield portrayed in this movie alone was fantasticβ

βThe best war film since "Saving Private Ryan." It is violent, harrowing, heartbreaking and unforgettable. And yes, it was directed by Mel Gibson. He deserves a medal, too.β

βHacksaw Ridge is one of the best films of 2016. And the victory is all the more sweet for Gibson in that he succeeds on his own weird terms.β
Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle Β· 100
βRemarkably, Hacksaw Ridge coalesces into a memorable whole.β
Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal Β· 90
βThough it's a bit of a wobbly mess at times, Hacksaw Ridge ultimately winds up being a deeply moving character study about an unlikely American hero.β
Bernard Boo, We Got This Covered Β· 90
βGarfield melts into his Doss character in a performance that seems impossibly still and tranquil. Heβs mesmerizing. Itβs almost impossible to imagine he ever played Spider-Man.β
