how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 289 comments (235 from Reddit, 49 from Metacritic, 5 from TMDB reviews) β 89 of them described how it moves.
π rising arc β Builds the whole way through. Hard going most of the way through. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 moment that made people jump, 4 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills.

βMain thing I wasn't fond of was how it basically becomes a typical action-rescue flick in the latter half if the third actβ

βthe eye assault of that very very brief glimpse of the Troglodyte women. That was truly the stuff of nightmares. Shocked me right through the heartβ

βMade it scarier for me at the end, because I super didn't want anyone to die.β

βthe death scene in this movie is incredibly disturbing. I'm no stranger to violence in film, but I found the scene in question to be very uncomfortable and upsetting.β

βThe scene were Russell and Jenkins get *taken* by the troglodytes really caught me by surprise, the editing was top notch. Like you said, they turn the corner and then BAM they get shot by arrows and then a quick cut to the troglodyte and he's literally right there standing a couple feet in front of them. You really got the sense that they only had a split second to react which is honestly how it would have gone down if it was actually happening, I felt hopeless just watching...they were coming at them from all angles. Scary stuff.β

βThe death scene made me recoil. I can't remember the last time a movie caught me so grossly off guard like that to that point.β

βBone Tomahawk is a proper Western, a proper horror movie, and by combining the two, becomes something else entirely, and proves hugely enjoyable for it.β
Oliver Lyttelton, The Playlist Β· 91
βBone Tomahawk may seem over-indulgent at 132 minutes, yet itβs the wayward digressions of Zahlerβs script β navigated with palpable enjoyment by an expert, Kurt Russell-led ensemble β that are most treasurable in a film that commits wholeheartedly to its own curiosity value.β
Guy Lodge, Variety Β· 80
βBone Tomahawk is terrifying and strange, to be sure, but itβs the old-fashioned veneer that makes it beautiful.β
Bilge Ebiri, New York Magazine (Vulture) Β· 80
βThis is a confident, terrifically enjoyable film, superbly written, shot and performed.β
Tom Huddleston, Time Out London Β· 80
βIt has a nice line in wry chatter and a pleasantly old-fashioned βlost posseβ plot with engaging, odd characters striving against the wilderness while swapping cynical frontier wisdom.β
Kim Newman, Empire Β· 80

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
