Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Not a rating. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve β shown next to the community score above, never mixed into it.

βThe initial helicopter scene with Kong was, I think, one of the most well shot action scenes in recent history.β

βAny movie with the sense, the wit and the visual instincts to introduce Kong the way this one does is fine with me.β

βIt also cannot be overstated what an asset [John C.] Reilly is. The moment he shows up, the movie feels enlivened and energized; his mere presence adds a tremendous amount of oddball charm and humor.β

βThis highly entertaining return of one of the cinema's most enduring giant beasts moves like crazy β the film feels more like 90 minutes than two hours β and achieves an ideal balance between wild action, throwaway humor, genre refreshment and, perhaps most impressively, a nonchalant awareness of its own modest importance in the bigger scheme of things.β

A wild adventure on a mysterious island filled with giant creatures. I enjoyed the action and visuals a lot, even though the characters and story didnβt grab me as much.
