how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 49 comments (44 from Metacritic, 5 from TMDB reviews) — 13 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 13 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“By the end, I wasn’t impressed by its supposed ambiguity—I just felt like I had watched a sleek, predictable thriller pretending to be deeper than it was.”

“Although by the final act he's proven right, when the AI he's treated as a sole focused presence of just self preservation murders him and leaves the protagonist who helped her escape for dead.”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
“It plays like Frankenstein meets Blade Runner via Hitchcock haunted by the ghosts of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, in a film that’s both highly literate and steeped in tense cat-and-mouse chills. Thematically epic – it demands to be seen at least twice and should fuel hours of debate — structurally it’s as lithe as Ava’s perfect mesh frame.”
Rosie Fletcher, Total Film · 100
“The picture is a triumph: it's arguably Garland’s tightest and most fascinating screenplay to date, brought to life with meticulous filmmaking and sensational performances. It's the first great film of 2015.”
Oliver Lyttelton, The Playlist · 100
“A rare and welcome exception to that norm.”
Matt Zoller Seitz, RogerEbert.com · 100
“Sizzlingly smart and agreeably sententious, Mr. Garland’s film transcends some all-too-human imperfections with gorgeous images, astute writing and memorably strong performances.”
Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal · 100
“Shrewdly imagined and persuasively made, Ex Machina is a spooky piece of speculative fiction that's completely plausible, capable of both thinking big thoughts and providing pulp thrills. But even saying that doesn't do this quietly unnerving film full justice.”
Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times · 100

“When you think you have seen everything about AI movies, Ex Machina arrives and gives a very nice perspective on the matter. The movie goes quick, not many things happen but they are clever, very well thought. The story is more focused in the moral problems of the human main character rather than in the awe of the creation nor the existencial problem of the AI. The cast is all great, from Vikander to Mizuno, Glee and great Oscar Isaac. A real must to watch if you are into the topic.”
