how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 53 comments (50 from Metacritic, 3 from TMDB reviews) β 19 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence β the shape below rests on 19 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

βthe ending was not the one I was hoping for and I felt diminished the rest of the movieβ

Published reviews, not felt experience β a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It reviews better than it plays β admired more than it is enjoyed.
βIt's rare for a movie to be at once so biting and so moving. If Ryan's future seems bleak, there's something exhilarating about a movie made with such clear-eyed intelligence.β
Stephen Farber, The Hollywood Reporter Β· 100
βUp in the Air is light and dark, hilarious and tragic, romantic and real. It's everything that Hollywood has forgotten how to do; we're blessed that Jason Reitman has rememberedβ
Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly Β· 100
βUp in the Air takes the trust people once had in their jobs and pulls out the rug. It is a film for this time.β
Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times Β· 100
βRyan may not be admirable, but Clooney makes him relatable. It's his deepest and nakedest performance.β
Carrie Rickey, Philadelphia Inquirer Β· 100
βUp in the Air is also optimistic about the perpetual themes that preoccupy so many movies that endure the test of time: Life is better with company. And everybody needs a co-pilot.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

βI donβt really get why this movie got an Oscar nomination. I mean itβs watchable but I donβt think itβs Oscar-worthy. I think this movie is too simple to be nominated. There were some funny parts but itβs more of a βLOLβ than βLMAOβ. Script wise, itβs nice. Itβs kind of real in a way since a lot of people are losing their jobs because of recession. I think thatβs one of the reasons why people liked this movie because it is whatβs happening right now in the USA.β
