Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.

π flatline β One note, start to finish. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing.

βToo long boring to work as an action/spectacle movieβ
βWhen it finally happened...I was so utterly disappointed.β

βAs a fictional, big-budget, 3-D, epic interpretation of Mosesβ journey, Exodus: Gods and Kings is spectacular.β

βWhatβs remarkable about Scottβs genuinely imposing Old Testament psychodrama is the degree to which he succeeds in conjuring a mighty and momentous spectacle β one that, for sheer astonishment, rivals any of the lavish visions of ancient times the director has given us β while turning his own skepticism into a potent source of moral and dramatic conflict.β
Justin Chang, Variety Β· 90
βScott operates on a suitably Biblical scale and grounds the spectacle with rock-solid turns from Bale and Edgerton.β
Jamie Graham, Total Film Β· 80
βAs spectacular and surprising as you would expect from Scott. Its spiritual uncertainty β and lack of triumphalism β perhaps robs it of a truly satisfying, cathartic conclusion, but also makes for a truly modern, thoughtful biblical blockbuster.β
Nev Pierce, Empire Β· 80
βFor all its stunning and stark wilderness settings (Spain and the Canary Islands), its stunning effects, technical proficiency and scriptural cleverness, Exodus is a chilly affair... Itβs still an exciting, entertaining epic.β

βThe first half of the film is also well done. Despite already being well versed on the story, I was entertained and very interested in what was going on.β

βThis is a well known story and I have also seen the '56 movie 'The Ten Commandments'. So in this film could not foresee the modification, but it did in a slight manner like the later 'Noah' movie. The best part was the visuals, the graphics were so good, hard to resist the pleasure if you are vfx geek like me. That's the reason I love modern movie, especially remake of a classic like 'King Kong'. The problem in this flick was lie in the story telling. As we know, Ridley Scott is an excellent β
