how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 64 comments (57 from Reddit, 7 from Metacritic) — 13 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 13 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“WTF was that second act? The romance storyline felt so disconnected from the rest of the movie and not nearly as funny.”

“I was relieved when they got back to the main storyline in the 3rd act”

“The opening scene makes you think you’re going to get a really absurd, crass comedy in the vein of a Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison.”
Three_Froggy_Problem · Reddit ↗
“the climax with Andy Roddick was entertaining enough”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
“Despite a plot that goes in and out of consciousness and a 102-minute runtime that approaches bloat, The Dink matches “Barb and Star” in laughs per scene, and eventually, a sense of hopefulness. Don’t wait for it to be rediscovered.”
Carla Meyer, San Francisco Chronicle · 75
“The truth is that a likable ensemble of this caliber can go a long way to overcoming nitpicks about overly familiar sports comedy tropes and issues with pacing.”
Brian Tallerico, RogerEbert.com · 75
“The Dink is the sort of loosely tossed-together comedy in which you suspect the actors are ad-libbing half of their lines, but it works. The cast is full of funny people in supporting roles, popping up like bouncing tennis balls.”
Moira Macdonald, The Seattle Times · 75
“Leading things is Johnson, who finally gets the perfect starring role for his raspy-voiced charms and overworked confidence. He anchors The Dink with his off-the-cuff style and Ricky Bobby’s dickhead arrogance.”
Matt Schimkowitz, The A.V. Club · 75
“It's not groundbreaking, nor is it going to live in the ranks of the greatest sports comedies of all time. But it offers enough laughs and charm to keep you entertained for much longer than a pickleball match.”
Nate Richard, Collider · 70

“Effective and inoffensive streaming slop, Mary Steenburgen getting a real solid rom com part at age 73 is impressive.”

“"The Dink" (96-min, Apple) This movie mirrors the "feud" I have with a brother, I'm a tennis purist and he's all into pickleball, so I've been waiting for a movie like this for a few years, and it did not disappoint. It far exceeded my low expectations, there was some good laugh/cringe moments, including Ben Stiller as a creepy/perv doctor, and the sight gags featuring a crusty ol' John McEnroe were spot on. Tennis champ Andy Roddick has a decent role, but it's a shame his model-wife Brooklyn De”
