Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.

It reviews better than it plays β admired more than it is enjoyed.
βThis is an utterly absorbing film, a story that Scorsese sees as a secret history of American power, a hidden violence epidemic polluting the water table of humanity.β
Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian Β· 100
βThe three-and-a-half-hour running time is fully justified in an escalating tragedy that never loosens its grip β a sordid illustration of historical erasure with echoes in todayβs bitterly divisive political gamesmanship.β

βWeaving the Tulsa race riots, the KKK and the Masons into its tapestry, Scorseseβs opus questions the misdeeds of America in the last century while linking them to the pressing issues of today. Addressing racial violence, nationalism, the continued epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women and even our lurid obsession with true crime, Killers of the Flower Moon paints a robust picture of a moment in history that invites viewer introspection.β

βOn paper, this looks like a flatly impossible task for DiCaprio: the filmβs central character is neither hero nor charismatic outlaw, but a grasping, biddable, determinedly unreflective stooge, whose actions inspire revulsion and outrage. But he meets the challenge with one of the finest, most complex performances heβs ever given.β
Robbie Collin, The Telegraph Β· 100
βDiCaprio and De Niro are brilliant, but it is relative unknown Lily Gladstone who is truly extraordinary.β

it reviews better than it plays β critics 90, the watch 46
Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

β62/100 A family of bandits plan to rob a train. They didn't plan on a couple of Commandos being on board. For me, the characters never connected so I didn't care about them much. Because of that, those moments of melodrama, which were pretty thick, just annoyed me. However, the action is unrelenting, savage, brutal and gory. Although I did get tired of the constant repetition of people who were seemingly defeated getting back up and fighting again, it certainly wasn't boring and if you like cβ
