how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 110 comments (83 from Reddit, 24 from Metacritic, 3 from TMDB reviews) β 41 of them described how it moves.
β steady β Holds one level all the way. Hard going most of the way through. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow, 3 that gave people chills.

βthat scene with the stick family between Arlo and Spot ...I just lost it. I haven't cried in a movie that hard since the BingBong "Take her to the moon for me!" scene.β

βWhat a rollercoaster ride of thoughts and feelings in one short scene. I thought at first when his face puffed up, Spot was allergic, then they were woozy and thought they got drunk because of the fermentation. When Arlo grew another eye and crazier shit happened, I was in total shock. Never had I thought I would see drug use in a Disney children's movie! It was ridiculously hilarious and made me really think, did I just see that???!β

βIt felt odd, pacing wise, that the adventure didn't start at the same time as Arlo's dad got washed away with Arlo being swept away at the same time.β

βWithin about 5 minutes of the film starting, I was completely on board with what they were going for. My mind just forgot the strange contrast and accepted it as a part of this world.β

βIt's kinda slow, it doesn't have a sturdy plot structure, it's weird and meanders and it's one of the most visually focused films Pixar has ever made.β

βThe Good Dinosaur is up there with Toy Story in terms of its technical achievement and for providing an equally heart-touching, emotional tale.β

βFirst-time helmer Peter Sohn and screenwriter Meg LeFauve (βInside Outβ) have created a fantastic and frequently exhilarating feature that showcases Pixarβs greatest strengths: technical brilliance, emotional texture, crossover appeal, and an impish sense of humor that takes the utmost advantage of the animated form.β
Inkoo Kang, TheWrap Β· 90
βThereβs still that dissonance β Pixar is creating its own world, though the characters, and replicating our own, in the gorgeous vistas β but even when the combination doesnβt truly sing, it remains entrancing, and even surprising.β

βIt might be a given that Pixarβs movies are visually spectacular, but The Good Dinosaur may be the studioβs most purely cinematic, the richness of the design and the emotional power of the widescreen compositions stirring deep, almost primal feelings about childhood, the loss of innocence and the untamed ferocity of the natural world.β
Tim Grierson, Screen Daily Β· 80
βIt makes you wince at the fragility of life while simultaneously welling up at the wonder of it β and that unexpected mixing of the sentimental and the existential left me feeling what can only be described as aww-struck.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
